Welcome to Spring 2019! The season is showing all signs of a good year for both fishing and weather. While the winter saw some crazy amounts of rain and wind and cold, the temps are moderating. This is great because we are plenty busy preparing for our next trips. We will start in May. In the meantime, the Miss Chris is hauled out at Yank Marine getting some finishing touches on our repower from 2018. New Shafts, to go with the new props, new shaft bearings, new couplings, new dripless shaft seals, new ball valves, etc. We had a slight vibration on our trips on the all-new Miss Chris- this extra TLC should make her smooth as silk for long runs to Cape May Reef and points beyond! The cabin still needs attention and there are plenty of paint projects on the horizon, so please excuse the interior till we have time to make it all perfect. The new rig is a very stable platform, a full 2 feet wider than the last boat, and heavier in the right places. The side decks are a full 15″ wider, allowing plenty of space to stand at the rail and fish and still have a place for your mate to get to the next person down the rail. Comfy benches and padded seating in the cabin round out the amenities aboard the all-new Miss Chris. We also have our license to sell beer and wine now from NJ ABC so, do not worry about extra runs to stores when it is early in the morning, step aboard, leave the dock, and enjoy your time with us as you see fit. Looking forward to seeing you all this season. The May trips will include 6 PM leave times for Drumfish. See the Schedule
