The Fall has arrived and Captain Mike has adapted to the ever changing world of inshore deep sea fishing. Over regulation has sent us in different directions and those different directions have sent us right back to the rips at Cape May Point! The Blues are to the small end. Snapper Blues have been plentiful. The occasional Weakfish has also been caught in the area, along with a 40 lb Drumfish. Some Fluke have been caught and thrown back as well. Some other trips have yielded Triggerfish and Kingfish. Lots of bait and small Tunnies on the surface have been seen but are near impossible to catch. Taug is also open currently at 1 fish per man at 15 inch minimum.

We are looking forward to the return of Striped Bass. Early reports indicate there are already a couple local fish being caught off the beaches. Black Sea Bass opens on October 22, 2017 with a 15 fish bag limit at 12.5″ minimum size. We have plans for some extended offshore trips for Sea Bass currently. Participation and weather will be huge factors.

We are also available for Private Charter for inshore and offshore fishing. Weekday trips offer great rates with only a 10 person minimum. Weekends in October, November and December are also available with competitive private charter rates.
