couple holding their recently caught flounders

Hey All.

Its been awhile since my last report so I will try to recap as much of Captain Mike and Jim have been up to as possible. Basically, Drum Fish is over for 2017. Sea Bass Closed on the 18th and Fathers Day had some rough conditions. Our evening trip will continue to sail on select evenings as a Bay Only Trip, at 6:00 PM. Look for more of Captain Dave, Captain Stan, and others aboard the 6:00 PM.

Captain Mike Scanlan is fishing daily at 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM. He reports a mixed bag of both Fluke and Weakfish. There have been good days with keeper Fluke in June. Some other days not so much with a few throwbacks. There have also been some slow days with a couple Weakfish. Recent catches include some nice fat Kingfish. The prime spots have been slow to warm up after a moderate winter. The recent South West winds caused some upwelling and some cold water in shore. Now things are starting to perk up and should improve weekly. Here are some recent catches.

Darrin Hendrizac from Williamstown NJ with a 19in Fluke.

Danny Floyd from New Concord, Ohio with 2 nice kingfish

Joe and his daughter Tara with some nice Father’s Day Fluke!

More Fluke aboard the Miss Chris with Captain Mike Scanlan and Jim
