What You'll See & Do

Climb aboard the Miss Chris as we head out for an exciting full day’s deep-sea fishing! The adventure begins once we leave Cape May Harbor at midnight as we head out in the dark onto the quiet Atlantic Ocean.

Our expert crew will let us know exactly where we’ll be going for the best chances to catch a variety of fish, alongside assisting with equipment set up and providing any seasoned expert advice when we reach our first destination. Fish species that we may catch depending on the season. Anything from tilefish, codfish, jumbo black sea bass, and ling can be expected on bottom trips. Tuna, swordfish, and mahi-mahi should also be in the back of your mind too!

Aside from the fishing, the area is beautiful and you can sightsee along the way and you may also spy some Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, bald eagles, and maybe even a humpback whale.

During the trip home, the crew weighs up the pool and cleans any catch that is of legal size to keep. It is also another opportunity to sightsee. As the original seaside resort, the history of Cape May is rich and the Cape May Lighthouse, Cape May Harbor, and the United States Coast Guard Training Center are among the highlights along our route.
